In this two hour workshop, we will explore a sequence of yin yoga postures to relax the body and quiet the mind.


Yin Yoga is a slow practise of well-supported seated and supine postures, encouraging softness and nourishment. Each posture is held for 3 to 5 minutes to gently relax and unwind muscular tissue. These sustained holds offer us the opportunity to slow down and stay with what is, moment by moment, breath by breath. The meditative Yin Yoga practice can lead to a sense of greater harmony and peace in life, more ease in body and mind, and a deeper sense of balance. Feelings of calmness, acceptance and gratitude may arise.  


This practice will focus on releasing tension from hips, spine and shoulders to increase flexibility and mobility in the joints within each student's own natural range of motion.  


Suitable for all yoga practitioners, including beginners.

Balance the Chakras



2pm - 4:30pm, £25

Tangibly experience the seven major energy centres of the Chakra system in this hatha yoga workshop.


We’ll explore the ways which asana (physical postures) and pranayama (breathwork) open and balance the energetic body. Working along the “manifesting current,” from Sahasrara down to Muladhara, we’ll channel cosmic energy downwards into earthly embodied form. These practices can foster more conscious decision making and clearer boundaries while inviting structure, stability and peace into our lives. A short, guided Chakra meditation to uplift and calm the mind will lead to a long, grounding restorative Savasana. Open yourself to the possibilities of a more vibrantly Self-aware life while letting go of stress, fatigue and negativity.


All participants will receive a detailed handout on the Chakras, including further reading suggestions.


Accessible to beginners, with challenging options for advanced practitioners, including headstand.
