Welcome to our Seasonal Ayurveda Course, a 4-week basics course on how to move, eat, make-love and live
in-line with your body and nature’s changes through the seasons.


Along with finding out your personal body constitution according to Ayurveda, each week you will be led into a
unique and specifically designed practice, including yoga for warmth and digestion, dance and movement and
self-massage to transform and move any areas of stagnancy in the body and mind.


Following our practice, we enjoy a range of hand-made Ayurvedic tea and snacks crafted by Baba’s Bites to
balance the body and learn the foundations of how to balance your unique body throughout the year.


WEEK 1 - BASICS OF AYURVEDA & YOUR BODY TYPE
Opening circle, leading to a warming/cooling yoga practice, designed to balance your body for the specific
season, followed by handmade Ayurvedic tea and snacks. Learn about the foundations of Ayurveda, including
how to understand the elements, seasons and the three body types (Doshas) - Vata, Kapha and Pitta. During
the session you will find out your own individual body type (prakriti) and begin to learn how to manage any
imbalances on a mind, body and soul level.

WEEK 2 - EATING & DRINKING FOR THE SEASON
Be led into a mindful yoga practice, focussing on digestion and elimination of toxins to build the digestive fire (agni). During this session you will begin to understand how to balance your unique body type through how,
what and when you eat and drink. You will learn how this changes during the year to make sure you are giving
your being all it needs to be well. Learn about the 7 ayurvedic tastes, prana, the gunas and Sattvic eating.
Enjoy Ayurvedic tea and snacks, handmade with intention to increase digestive fire.

WEEK 3 - YOGA, MEDITATION & MOVEMENT FOR THE SEASON
Experience a fire building dance and movement session, specifically made to transform and move any areas of
stagnancy in the body and mind. Understand various techniques and Ayurvedic guidelines of movement,
exercise and yoga practice to balance your body type during the various months, including, yoga postures to
balance the Doshas, building heat, fire and warmth in the body, pranayama techniques and meditative
movement to integrate into your everyday life and combat the outside weather.

WEEK 4 - SELF-CARE & LIFESTYLE FOR THE SEASON
Be led into a warming Ayurvedic self-massage and yoga practice to combat the warm or cold months. Learn
the secrets of balanced Ayurvedic living, including how to sleep, make love, dress and care for your Self
according to the season and your individual body constitution. We will have a closing circle, to take the time for
all to reflect together on the experience and any changes that have come throughout the month.
