the spine in movement
Saturday 1st October 16:30 - 18:00 in-person only
£25
Led by Rosie Slay
We often underestimate our bodies, and the possibility for self-regulation and pain free movement that is possible within them. As the channel of the central nervous system the spine holds an important role in our bodies and we want to keep it moving!
This workshop aims to demystify the network of bones, muscles and nerves that we often refer to as our 'back', giving you confidence in your body and allowing you to move it freely and fearlessly. We will be using embodied movement techniques, inspired by the Franklin method, yoga and breathwork to understand the physiology on an embodied level.
Open to all levels, and for those experiencing back pain, unless you've been otherwise advised by your doctor.
