I qualified as a yoga teacher in 2017 and teach vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, pregnancy yoga, breathing techniques and meditation.
Having practised yoga for almost 20 years, I see yoga as a lifelong journey of learning and experiencing the body, mind and soul. I continue to be inspired by yoga history and philosophy and try to honour the roots of yoga in my classes while also allowing my students to explore modern movement practices that complement that traditional asana (poses.)
I am a qualified psychotherapist and am passionate about the supportive effects of a yoga practice for mental health. Pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation and yoga philosophy are important parts of my own practice and I weave them into classes to allow students to experience the transformative effect of the practice.
